The Subway Sandwiches location at 4712 42nd Ave SW in Jefferson Square will close  at the end of business today, Jan. 23. The owners have sought to sell the franchise for the past year but had no success. The location has been operating for the past 17 years.

They are retiring and the business will close.

Westside Seattle has calls out to Subway Corporate regarding the future of the site and what might happen to the signage and equipment or if it will revert to corporate ownership.
