West Seattle Nursery at 5275 Calfornia Ave SW is holding their Spring Open House April 14 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

The event will feature food, classes and demonstrations.

11 a.m. - How to Select and Care for Bamboo

with Bob Schader of Boxhill Farm

This is a great opportunity to get answers to your questions about bamboo. Meet Bob in the bamboo grove for an informal conversation about these versatile plants.

Noon - The Happy Hour Garden

with The Seattle Farm School 

This class is about gardening, mixology, and cooking, all wrapped up in one great package. You'll get to sample a seasonal "mocktail" and appetizer.

1 p.m. - Create a Succulent Container Garden

with Mary Holdsworth, WSN staff

​Mary will show you how to combine succulent colors and textures to create a stunning outdoor planter. She'll also explain how to care for these plants to keep them looking good year around.

Enjoy great food from local producers and complimentary coffee drinks from our new Coffee Bar.
