West Seattle Nursery at 5275 Calfornia Ave SW is holding their Spring Open House April 14 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

11 a.m. - How to Select and Care for Bamboo
with Bob Schader of Boxhill Farm
This is a great opportunity to get answers to your questions about bamboo. Meet Bob in the bamboo grove for an informal conversation about these versatile plants.
Noon - The Happy Hour Garden
with The Seattle Farm School
This class is about gardening, mixology, and cooking, all wrapped up in one great package. You'll get to sample a seasonal "mocktail" and appetizer.
1 p.m. - Create a Succulent Container Garden
with Mary Holdsworth, WSN staff
Mary will show you how to combine succulent colors and textures to create a stunning outdoor planter. She'll also explain how to care for these plants to keep them looking good year around.
