Sea-Tac International Airport officials are just looking for some peace and harmony this winter-especially with their seasonal decorations.
Last year's Christmas season was anything but harmonious.
In a series of events that brought international attention to Sea-Tac, Port of Seattle staffers removed and then later reinstalled 14 Christmas trees in the main terminal.
The trees were originally yanked after a Seattle rabbi requested the addition of an electronic menorah at the airport.
Mission accomplished.
The Thomas Jefferson Raiders girls volleyball team did what it had to, what it wanted to do, and that did it, as the Raiders now will make the West Central District tournament for the first time in 15 years after they sealed their playoff spot with a win over host Federal Way Wednesday.
"This was a must win for us," said TJ head coach Robin McNett.
Thomas Jefferson found itself fighting the wind and the rain Friday, as well as the Kentlake Falcons.
But the Raiders stuck close until a couple touchdowns in the fourth in an increasing storm put them away, 28-10.
TJ was only down by only a 9-7 margin late in the second quarter and early in the third.
"It was a good game until late in the third quarter," said first year Raiders head coach Dean Peck.
Peck and his team found themselves having the most trouble getting the offense going.
"It wasn't the best night for our offense," Peck said.

There was a whole lot of hugging and handshaking going on after Federal Way came from behind to beat Kentridge, 27-21, in overtime to clinch the South Puget Sound League North Division championship.
It is its first championship at the league level since 1976, when the Eagles went on to take second place in the state.
"We're No. 1 all by ourselves," said Federal Way head coach John Meagher. "I've been here for 13 years one way or the other and I've been through 1-8 seasons and all that.
