West Seattle walked all over another girls basketball opponent Friday, trampling Ingraham by a 72-15 score.
The Wildcats remain undefeated on the year, improving to 4-0 overall and to 3-0 against Metro League opponents.
West Seattle has a No. 2 state ranking.
Seattle Christian, meanwhile, spanked Seattle Academy by an 83-59 score Saturday for its third win of the week and Ballard beat Eastside Catholic by a 55-28 margin Friday.
Highline emerged as a 62-30 winner over Tyee on Friday, but the rest of the local girls teams all took losses Friday.
Chief Sealth took a 59-24 loss to Cleveland and White River defeated Foster, 72-42, with Washington winning over Evergreen, 57-10.
Tahoma topped Kennedy Catholic, 52-35, and Kentwood defeated Mount Rainier, 50-37, with Seattle Lutheran taking a 48-21 loss to Mount Vernon Christian.
West Seattle was also a winner on the boys side Friday by a 67-50 score over Ingraham, and the Evergreen boys edged out Washington, 61-60, with Highline defeating Tyee, 50-45.
Kennedy won, 51-40, over Tahoma and Seattle Christian won, 60-53, over King’s Way Christian with Seattle Lutheran topping Mount Vernon Christian, 54-40.
Chief Sealth suffered a 72-63 loss to Cleveland that night and Mount Rainier lost to Kentwood, 68-39, with Foster falling to White River by a 62-40 margin.
