The number 57 proved to be unlucky for both the Chief Sealth boys and girls basketball teams in Metro League district qualifying tournament action Tuesday.

The boys lost at Lakeside by a 57-50 score and the girls fell at Roosevelt by a 57-44 margin.

The losses marked the end of the season for both of the Seahawks squads.
