Seattle Public Schools announced online and in a letter to parents today that due to staffing shortages there will be no school on Thursday, Nov.

 An incident on Halloween night  involving a prowler who then fired a gun got spread on Facebook over the past few days and got reported to police who are now seeking your help to locate this suspect.

The Roll Pod has finally opened in White Center at 9602 16th SW offering tasty and convenient food infused with flavors from India. Business has been brisk so far they report.

For about an hour on Wednesday, the lower Spokane Street Swing Bridge was shut down for mechanical reasons. The Seattle Department of Transportation announced the closure and then just about 58 minutes later they had it open again.
