NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION AND DEADLINE FOR CLAIMS
The Board of Directors of the Seattle Monorail Project has adopted Resolution No. 06-41, adopted August 17, 2006, requiring publication of this Notice.
The Ballard Avenue Landmark District Board approved a design proposal last week for a new 146-unit senior housing facility on Ballard Avenue Northwest after the developers, Teutsch Partners, altered their original plan to meet the historic district's guidelines.
The Ballard Landmark Inn is a mixed-use development for an assisted and independent living facility at the site of the old Wilson Ford dealership in the Ballard Avenue Landmark District; an area the city of Seattle has designated to retain its historic character.

The intersection of NW 58th St. and 24th Ave. NW has been at the heart of significant redevelopment in the last few years. QFC is in the process of renovating its store, and adding five floors of living space above it. A new park and library sit a block away and down the street, dueling condo towers are in the process of stacking up across from each other.
The intersection is indicative of the churn that is new Ballard. Except, that is, for two lots on intersection's northwest corner, that have sat vacant for last five years.

On August 24, 2006, Kimberly Ann Glenzer (Kimmer) was suddenly taken from our lives. Kimmer touched many people with her kindness, love and innocence. The love she brought to all of us carries us through these difficult times.
Born April 3, 1962 in Honolulu, Hawaii, Kim grew up in Burien, Wash. Graduated from Kennedy High School in 1980.
She leaves behind her partner and best friend John Hostak; her loving shadows Cody and Tara; her mother Sheila A.
Born in Tacoma, Wash., Oct. 17, 1928. Died in Burien, Wash., Aug. 19, 2006.
Jacob was a loving husband and father.
Henry M. Gran, 89, passed away on August 17, 2006, at the Carol's Country Cottages in Federal Way, Wash. He was born on August 17, 1917, to Theodore and Betsy Gran in Glasgow, Mont., as the fifth of nine children. He attended school in Glasgow and Miles City, Mont., where he graduated high school in 1935.
He had various jobs in Miles City until 1942, after his marriage to Ella Neumann, when they moved to Seattle and were employed at Boeing Aircraft Co. during World War II.
