Lois Mae Baulig

Lois Mae Baulig was born on February 14, 1930 in Aberdeen, Wash. and passed away on December 10, 2007 in Des Moines, WA. She is survived by her husband Gerald "Jerry" Baulig, son Tom Baulig, daughter Jane Keniston and mother Emma Hubert. She will be laid to rest at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA. Michael Paul O'Brian

Michael was born to Jack and Paulette O'Brian on June 16, 1926, in the tranquil town of Roundup in his beloved state of Montana. Mike quietly and peacefully left this world in the arms of his loving family on December 6, 2007, at the age of 81.

Mike was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather respected for his generosity, caring and genuine friendship he extended to all.

Helen Leffler

Helen left us to be with the Lord on November 29, 2007. Her passing was peaceful and she had been watched over by her family, friends and the caring staff at Wesley Homes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, and son Mike. Helen is survived by her sister Thelma, son Bob, grandchildren Scott, Joe, Stephanie, Mike and Grant and five great-grandchildren.

Helen's family moved from Colorado to Washington where they eventually decided on the city of Des Moines to be their permanent home. Here she resided for over 50 years.

Owen David Simmerer

Owen David Simmerer was born in Seattle on November 1, 1948, to Fred and Phyllis Simmerer. He was raised in Renton as the third of nine children. Education was important to Owen, who received his AA from Peninsula College in 1988 and his Bachelors in Elementary Education from Western Washington University in 1992. In 2005 he received his Masters in Education from Central Washington University; he graduated with a 4.0 GPA.

Owen was a dynamic and interesting man with an incredible sense of humor.

Kathleen Clair Wamsley

Passed away Dec. 10, 2007 at age 69. A Burien resident since 1967, born July 12, 1938, in Lewiston, Idaho. Graduated Asotin High School in 1956 and Eastern Washington State College in 1960. Taught elementary school at Edmonds, American Military Schools in Japan and Germany, and then many happy years in Burien until retirement in 1992.

She was preceded in death by father, Clair Wamsley, and mother, Wilma Ausman Wamsley. Survived by sisters Susan Wamsley and Rachel Mattice and brother Ron Wamsley and many nieces and nephews.

Barbara Anne Stedman

Barbara Anne Stedman, age 71 passed away peacefully on November 28, 2007 in Federal Way.

A veteran of twenty years with the Boeing Company, Barbara is survived by her daughters Julie K. Stedman and Kirsten A. Nelson (Scott); granddaughter, Marjana Nelson; brothers, Dr. William Jerome (Diane) and Dr. Jerome T. Jerome II (Sally) and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald K.

Lawrence Arnold Baskett

Born to George and Pretoria Baskett on December 18, 1922 in Seattle, Washington and passed away December 2, 2007 two weeks short of his 85th birthday. He grew up in West Seattle attending Lafayette, Madison and then graduating from West Seattle High School in 1941. After high school he was employed at Boeing for two years before joining the US Air Force where he flew with the 379th Bomb Group in Kimbolton, England during World War II. After his military service Larry attended Whitworth College in Spokane, Wash. where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1951.

BEATRICE MARIA OSWALD

October 28, 1920 - November 22, 2007

BEATRICE OSWALD passed away at St. Francis Hospital, Federal Way, WA after a brief illness.

Beatrice was born in Amriswil, Switzerland. She worked in her parent's store and then in Scotland, returning to Switzerland at the outbreak of world war two. There she trained and worked as a lab technician until moving to the U.S.A. in 1953. She lived in Boston, S. California and Montana, with periodic visits to friends and family in Europe.

In 1970 Beatrice moved to Wyoming to work in the family practice of Dr.

Mattie Rose Edwards

Age 95, passed on to the Great Spirit, November 24, 2007 on a sunny day in Ballard. Born July 22, 1912 in Big Sky Country.

Beloved wife of over 60 years to Captain Paul Edwards (F/V Guardian). Rosie and Paul made their home in Sitka, Alaska, where she was a supporter of A.N.S. They moved to Ballard in 1960. Rosie and Paul enjoyed many driving trips together, and have lived their remaining years happily in Ballard.

Funeral Services were held at Wiggen and Sons Funeral Home.
