After 239 days of coping with the broken West Seattle Bridge, Mayor Jenny Durkan announced on Thursday morning that it will be repaired and return to service by mid 2022.

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory starting at 8am Tuesday lasting all day until 5pm

They say South winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are expected. Power outages in the most vulnerable areas are likely.

Lonnie Jones, 43, has been charged by the King County Prosecuting Attorney with 2nd degree assault in the Nov. 11 attack on 73 year old Gregorio Tagavilla near High Point. He is being held on $100,000 bail.
