Lindsey Marie Austin

Age 19

Our beloved daughter, sister and friend left us too soon due to a tragic car accident on October 16. Lindsey was born on August 10, 1987 and attended Hope Lutheran grade school, Madison Middle School, West Seattle High School and South Seattle Middle

College. She loved her family, friends and her dog Bagel. She is survived by her parents, Bob and Lisa, brother Blake (Danielle Yanda), grandmother Pat Yerg

and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Louise M. Uhlman

Louise M. Uhlman died in a fatal car accident the morning of October 28, 2006.

Born June 22, 1942, in North Dakota, Louise loved the Pacific Northwest, where she lived for 44 years. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James M. Uhlman, who passed in April, 1991.

Louise was an avid supporter of the Pacific Northwest Ballet, the Seattle Opera House and the TAG Theater.

Wilbur W. (Bill)

Hoagland, Jr.

Bill Hoagland went to be with Christ on Oct. 7, 2006, from the effects of a series of strokes. He had just celebrated his 82nd birthday.

He is survived by his wife and love, Letha; and his two sons Sidney (Betty) and Peter (Sherri Pocock); as well as three grandchildren he loved very much: Matthew, Sara and Jonathan. Bill is also survived by his brother James (Carol) Hoagland, of Palos Verdes Estates, Calif., and two nieces.

A Celebration of Bill's life will be held at John Knox Presbyterian Church, 109 S.W. Normandy Road, Burien, on Friday, Nov.

Hans Doran Grande

Feb. 19, 1972- Oct. 24, 2006

Brilliant, witty, and loved by all who knew him. Hans fought his cancer with courage and strength. He kept his positive attitude and his bravery inspired us all.

He was a graduate of Mt. Rainier High School, Seattle University, and UC Berkeley Haas School of Business.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Suh; his mother, Billie Grande; and his brothers Dodd and Kurt and his sister, Ann Knapp.

A celebration in memory of Hans was held Saturday, Oct. 28, at Southminster Presbyterian Church in Des Moines.

Robert (Bob) J. Fulford

Robert (Bob) J. Fulford, 66, passed away November 1, 2006, in Federal Way.

Bob was born October 20, 1940, in St Paul, Minn. His family moved to Burien when he was five years old. He was raised in Burien. He attended Sunnydale Elementary, Puget Sound Junior High and Highline High School.

He never moved far from the home. He raised his family in Des Moines.

Son of Charlotte; beloved husband of 44 years of Mary; father of David, Kenny and Nancy; grandfather of Katie, Alex, Jessica and Chase. He was always willing to help people whether he knew them or not.

Robert J. Sievert

"Old Fossil" was born March 28, 1918 in Longwood, Wisconsin and passed away October 17, 2006 in West Seattle at the age of 88. Bob was a Ballard High School graduate, WWII Veteran and Retired letter carrier. He was an avid sports fan and active outdoorsman enjoying hiking, fishing and camping.

He was preceded in death, by his wife Doris and is survived by Ronald and Judy Sievert, Jean and Tim Fanton, Ferne Elliot, Jane Nyhus DeCoster, and Gary Sievert.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, October 25, 1 p.m. at Howden-Kennedy Funeral Home, West Seattle.

William G. Craig

William G. Craig, age 96, died September 9 while staying in Virginia

with his daughter and her family.

Mr. Craig was born in Nanaimo, British Columbia in 1910. He moved to

Seattle when he was 18 years old. He was in the printing profession

for many years. He retired, and then became a piano tuner until a

few months ago. He was a violinist and played in several string

Phyllis Darlene Rebar

July 23, 1943 - October 16, 2006

Darlene passed away at age 63 after a brave battle with cancer. She was a long time resident of West Seattle until retiring to Elma about five years ago with her special friend, Bob Freeman. Darlene retired as a school bus driver after 17 years of service with Laid Law. She was a great fundraiser for the community and raised lots of donations for various charities.

Nettie J. Drisko

Nettie J. Drisko passed away 19 October 2006. She was born 91 years ago in Goldfield, Colorado on 26 June 1915. Her parents Robert Blair and Martha Torrance moved the family to Ballard around 1920. She graduated from Ballard High School. She was preceded in death by her brother James, her sister Bertha, her first husband Emmett O'Brien and her second husband Clarence Drisko. She is survived by her brother Robert Blair (Mary Jane), son Jim O'Brien (Barbara), daughter Janet Halemba (Ron), and step-son Dan Drisko.
