Robert J. Dillon

Robert J. Dillon, born July 14, 1957, in Merced, Calif., died Aug. 28, 2006, in Seattle.

Bob resided in Boulevard Park for seven years.

He is survived by son Bobbie and granddaughter Nicole, and brother Brian.

Services will be at Riverton Crest Cemetery, 3400 S. 140th St., Tukwila at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7.

John F. Scully

John F. Scully, age 78 was born in Beverly, Massachusetts and passed away after a short illness. John married Shirley Talbert in September 1982. He was a wonderful, thoughtful father, husband, and an exceptional son-in-law. His mother-in-law Ethel Neal, who recently preceded John in death, was well taken care of by him. He resided in West Seattle for more than 30 years. John sailed for 43 years into various ports around the world as a merchant seaman. The last 15 he employed by Sea Land.

1921 Edwin Earl Mason 2006

Ed was taken to his eternal rest on August 22, 2006, after a short stay at Swedish Hospital. He was a lifelong West Seattle resident, graduate of West Seattle High School and Kings Point Academy, New York. He served in the Merchant Marine during WWII. Ed retired after 33 years at General Steamship.

Nettie "Natasha" Grenkavich

Born March 9, 1917 in Seattle, Washington to Andrew and Lucia Fasevich. Passed away peacefully on August 9, 2006. She was a graduate of Beacon Hill Grade School, Franklin High School (Class of '35), and Wilson Business College. Preceded in death by her husband Alex, whom she was married to for 56 years. She and her husband owned and operated High Point Shoe Repair, in West Seattle, for 35 years. She is survived by her sons, Philip (Jeny), of CA and Robert Sr.

Ella Ree Depue

Ella Ree Depue was born March 28, 1920, in Mason City, Ill., and died August 23, 2006, in Burien, at the age of 86.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, in 1993.

Ella Ree is survived by her daughters Georgia Birchler and husband Gary, Mary Palzer, and Willa Roddy and husband Jim; sister Ruby Imig; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Ella Ree grew up in Illinois where she became a beautician. She married Bill in 1943, and they moved to Seattle soon thereafter, where they raised their three daughters.

Henry M. Gran

Henry M. Gran, 89, passed away on August 17, 2006, at the Carol's Country Cottages in Federal Way, Wash. He was born on August 17, 1917, to Theodore and Betsy Gran in Glasgow, Mont., as the fifth of nine children. He attended school in Glasgow and Miles City, Mont., where he graduated high school in 1935.

He had various jobs in Miles City until 1942, after his marriage to Ella Neumann, when they moved to Seattle and were employed at Boeing Aircraft Co. during World War II.

Kimberly Ann Glenzer

On August 24, 2006, Kimberly Ann Glenzer (Kimmer) was suddenly taken from our lives. Kimmer touched many people with her kindness, love and innocence. The love she brought to all of us carries us through these difficult times.

Born April 3, 1962 in Honolulu, Hawaii, Kim grew up in Burien, Wash. Graduated from Kennedy High School in 1980.

She leaves behind her partner and best friend John Hostak; her loving shadows Cody and Tara; her mother Sheila A.

William David Smith

William David Smith was born on October 7, 1940 in Cresco, IA. Later the family moved to Kingman, AZ. Bill served in the National Guard from 1959-1967. He served in the Pacific.

After his tour he came to Seattle. Bill enjoyed dancing at the Mountaineers Club as well and the Seattle Center.

He worked at Alaska Copper and Brass. He was member of Teamsters. He was a member of the Eagles, and enjoyed Karaoke and dancing.

He danced to a unique rhythm that will always be remembered.

William passed away May 31, 2006.
